About
I’m Éabha (AY-va), an Irish animation director turned motion designer, now based in Melbourne.
I think the best brand animation works like a good short film; when you care what happens next, even if it’s over in ten seconds.
So I find the story first, then make it move.
I trained at the National Film School at IADT, cut my teeth at Radii Animation, then directed Her Song. It was funded by Screen Ireland, won an IFTA, and was longlisted for the 2022 Academy Awards. My films have screened at festivals around the world.
These days I make explainers, brand animation and social motion for studios, agencies and brands.
